HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Anthony S. Fusari, 79, a resident of Merritt Island, FL and previously of Hopewell Junction, died on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Hospice at St. Francis in Titusville, FL with his wife by his side.
Born on November 26, 1938 in Manhattan, Anthony was the son of Frank and Letteria Fusari. On October 6, 2006 in Cocoa Beach, FL, Anthony married Paula Caputo who brought happiness to him since 1996.
Anthony worked as a Tool and Dye Maker for Cim-Tech Corporation and proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1957 to 1963. He loved going on cruises with his wife and was always tinkering around in his shed. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony Fusari and his wife Tracy of Brooklyn, Matt Fusari and his wife Holly of Hillside Lake, Kathleen Artusa of Maybrook, Dawn Zuccaretti and her husband Marco of Fishkill, and Teresa Bookamer and her husband Rick of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Michael, Maddie, Mackenzie, Sophia and Serafina; his sister, Mary Cardaci; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Anthony was predeceased by his brothers, Angelo, Salvatore and Frank Fusari.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on April 28, 2018 at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction.
