Obituary for
Florence Longo (Dator)
CLINTON CORNERS - Florence Longo, 94, an area resident for 15 years and formerly of Toms River, NJ died on March 31, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on January 7, 1924 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Alexander and Mary (Rescigno) Dator. Florence was a member of the Valley Christian Church and the Italian City Club. She was a big time Bocce player, and loved making ceramics. She loved traveling across the country and throughout the world by planes, buses and cruise ships.
Florence was predeceased by her first husband, Domenick Pepe, in 1967; her second husband, Carmine “Rocky” Longo in 2002; and her son, Frank Pepe, in 1999.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Maryann O’Lear and her husband Ken Smith of Clinton Corners; her stepson, Joseph Longo; her grandchildren, Danielle and David Casella, Vincent Longo and Julianna Longo; her great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Cooper; her niece, Carol Kelly and her husband Rick; and her great-nephew, Eric Kelly.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Christian Funeral Service will be on Thursday at 10am at the funeral home followed by entombment in Ferncliff Cemetery.
