Dear Anne-Margrete and Nikolai:

My earliest memory of Boris was at your sixth birthday party. It started with him somehow organizing a gaggle of five and six year olds into an organized series of relay races in which amazingly no one was injured. But that was before the highlight of the day when Boris set up a movie projector to show a series of Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse cartoons. This was way before even video recorders were invented, so this was just the greatest. I knew then that Boris was a pretty cool guy!
