The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carmela Sacco can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Uncle Freddie, Cousins - Toni, Joann, Freddie, Annette, Kim, Gregory and entire Sacco family -

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
I have such fond memories of Aunt Mela - she will always be a cherished member of our family!!!

May all of the wonderful, happy memories you each have help during this difficult time! Our thoughts are with all of you.

I am so very sorry we were not able to attend the services for Aunt Mela due to the snow that day. We miss you all. Time goes by so very quickly. Family time is so very important. We hope to see all of you soon.

Love -
Stacy, Justin, Mackenzie, Janice and Louise

Condolence: I first met “Mela” when she joined the “Helping Hands” group that met on Tuesday mornings; at that time we were sewing comfort pads for the cancer patients at Rosary Hill Nursing Home in Hawthorne.
One morning as we were sewing she started talking about this beautifully framed picture she had of Our Blessed Mother; it had been her mother’s; and she wanted to make sure it would always have a “good home”; before we knew it she left the group, went home got the picture, after getting approval; it now hangs in the school library in the Convent. Mela was so pleased! Our deepest sympathy to all of Mela’s family.
God bless you Mela and Rest In Peace🙏🙏Diane & Joe

Condolence: Grandma, my heart is heavy that you are at rest. You made me smile until the bitter end. Although we knew it was evident, I still wasn’t ready to let you go. Memories I will cherish, photos I will kiss but the most I’ll miss is how proud you were of me! I love you, a bushel and a peck!!! Until we meet again.
