Obituary for Sally LaMarca

Sally  LaMarca
Sally LaMarca, 86, a resident of Fishkill since 2009 and formerly of Fresh Meadows, died on November 24, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Brooklyn on August 8, 1931, she was the daughter of Louis and Sadie Milia. Sally graduated high school at 16 and went on to work for Metropolitan Life, FBI and Helmsley. She was a member of the Fishkill Seniors, and enjoyed cards, bingo, traveling, and visiting casinos. She derived her greatest joy from cooking for her family.

On February 3, 1952, Sally married Leonard LaMarca who predeceased her on November 14, 2006. She is survived by her son, Kenneth LaMarca; her daughter, Patricia Frank and her husband Thomas; her grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsey, Kaitlyn and Emily. Sally is survived by her brother, Louis Milia and his wife Josephine and is predeceased by her brother Frank Milia and surviving sister in law Joy Milia; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:15am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill followed by interment in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Flushing.
