Obituary for Charles F. Kiedaisch

Charles F.  Kiedaisch
Charles F. Kiedaisch, 95, an area resident since 1990 and formerly of the Bronx, died on November 19, 2017 at the Renaissance Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center.

Born in Passaic, NJ on February 25, 1922, he was the son of Charles F. and Mabel (Goodman) Kiedaisch. Charles proudly served our country in the US Army during World War II, and was employed as a printer with the New York Times. He was also a member of the East Fishkill Seniors.

On November 18, 1962 in Mount Vernon, Charles married Eugenia “Jean” (Amadio) Kiedaisch who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Linda Kasten, Diane Valitutto and her husband Don, Anthony Contento, Kim Kiedaisch, and Charles A. Kiedaisch and his wife Petra; his grandchildren, Michael and David Kasten, Gina Spagnoli, Damien and Andrew Valitutto; his great-grandchildren, Lucas, Ayden and Luci Spagnoli, Vienna and Giuliana Kasten, Doni and Leo Valitutto; and his nephews, Karl and Kurt Klein. In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his grandson, Steven Kasten; his son-in-law, Ted Kasten; his sisters, Mabel Klein and Verna Kiedaisch; and his niece, Karen Crandall.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Renaissance for keeping Charles happy and being so good to him for the past three years.
