Obituary for Thomas Martin Brodbeck

Thomas Martin  Brodbeck
Thomas Martin Brodbeck, 27, a resident of Johns Island, SC for the past year and formerly of Hopewell Junction, died on October 4, 2017 in West Ashley, SC.

Born in Poughkeepsie on December 26, 1989, he was the son of Martin and Kathleen (Drummond) Brodbeck. Tom was employed as a salesman with Hoover Mitsubishi in Charleston, SC. He worked non-stop, and was a body builder. He loved baseball and softball, and played East Fishkill Little League and Beekman Men’s Softball.

Tom is survived by his parents, Martin and Kathleen Brodbeck; his brother, Travis Brodbeck; his fiancé, Judith Birkenmeyer; his grandmothers, Mary Drummond and Rose Brodbeck; his aunts and uncles, Deborah and Bill Shelby, Brian and Roberta Brodbeck, Christian Brodbeck, Jessica Brodbeck and Kelly Brodbeck; and his cousins, Jason, Kayla, Courtney, Rachel, Steffanie, Keith, Heather, Paula, Melissa, Cassandra and Shannon. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Terrence Drummond and Emile Brodbeck; and his aunts and uncles, Linda Miller, Thomas Drummond, Terrence Drummond and Colleen Drummond.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
