Obituary for Mary Russell Sullivan (Miller)

POMPANO BEACH, FL – Mary Russell Sullivan, 94, died on September 13, 2016 at her home in Florida where she lived since 2004. She previously lived in the Town of Newburgh, Coral Springs, FL, Mohegan Lake, and Yonkers.

Born in Burnbank, Scotland on July 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late David and Helen (Russell) Miller. On May 14, 1949 in Hamilton, Scotland, she married Albert Sullivan who predeceased her in 2009.

Mary is survived by her children, Archibald Sullivan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and David Russell and his wife Maria of Spring Hill, FL; her grandchildren, Lorraine Sullivan and her husband Raymond Yannone of Cornwall, Gary Sullivan Russell and his fiancee Carol of Old Brookville, David Sullivan and his wife Laura of Albany, GA, Alan Sullivan Russell and his wife Deborah of Cary, NC, and Darryl Sullivan and his wife Melissa of Wappingers Falls; and her great-grandchildren, Heather, David, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Brian, Armand, Tyler, Darryl, Rachel, Luke, Alec, Dylan, Donovan, Marinna, Elizabeth and Mark, and Raymond. Mary was also predeceased by her first husband, Archibald Russell, and her siblings, Thomas Miller, George Miller, Helen McDougall, Peggy Johnson, Agnes Docherty, and Jane Miller.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 16th from 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
