The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Wiegard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Mischief Maker

John, how can we send you off and not mention "the little things" that endear us to a person . . .  you are the first person to welcome me when i was hired, by bringing me little bits of PBA paraphernalia, thank you. ~  I'll now be eating lunch in the lunchroom and i now will be half expecting the mischief maker to enter the lunchroom and bump into me as you enter and head towards the fridge, look inside it, make a grumpy sound, close the fridge door,  and leave the lunchroom dissatisfied and empty handed, but then always flash a smile upon exit.  "I have this n that in the fridge, want it?"  Annoyed, "nawwwwww".  Then, big smile!  ~  I won't be hearing of your fabulous family trips to Puerto Rico, the water, the food, the drinks, how your stresses melted away, how you and your family loved it, which towns you all had visited, had i ever been there... and i'd walk away with these amazing images of the island that enchants me. ~  In a split second, a joke that would render a belly laugh and hearty chuckle.  ~  Or the facial expressions that told what kind of a day you were having, you always made us laugh...  heehee! ~ I didn't work with you for as long as many others in our blue family, but these are my memories of you, and they are a part of you.  ~  the "little things" are the endearing qualities you showed and shared with so many.  ~  I can imagine the crowd your jokes and hearty laugh will draw...  ~  You!, shake them up, up there!  ~ Thank you for the kindness and the laughter! ~ You will be sorely missed.  Rest, John.
