Obituary for Anthony I. Longo

Anthony I.  Longo
Anthony I. Longo, 59, a resident of Fishkill for 2 years and formerly of Long Island, died on May 10, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.

Born in Queens on May 19, 1956, he was the son of John Donald Longo and Elizabeth Mary Spadanuta. Anthony was employed as a manager for MTA - Long Island Bus in Garden City for many years. He loved boating and fishing, especially aboard his boat "The Duke of Fluke."

Anthony is survived by his wife, Linda Shaner Rinaldi; his children, Michelle Longo, Matthew Longo, Diane Longo Serenita and her husband Peter, Samantha Longo, Nicole O'Leary and Robert Rinaldi; his grandchildren, Khloe, Angelica and Paige; his siblings, Opi DeFalco, John Longo and his wife Bernadette, and Andrew Longo; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Marie Longo; and his brother-in-law, Ray DeFalco.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill followed by a service at 5pm.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
