Obituary for William Joseph Fredrickson

William Joseph Fredrickson, 96, a lifelong area resident, died on May 5, 2016 at the Lutheran Care Center.

Born in Cornwall on November 15, 1919, he was the son of Augustus and Mary Finch Fredrickson. Bill proudly served our country in the US Army during World War II. A carpenter by trade, he absolutely loved to work. Bill had been married to Alice Hoyt who survives in Florida.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Jeffery and Pamela Fredrickson, George and Mary Fredrickson, Philip and Nancy Fredrickson, William and Tonya Fredrickson, and Michele and Stephen Drevlow; his grandchildren, Jeffery, Maureen, Malia, Joel, Jason, Philip, Tyler and Cody Fredrickson, Christine Parker, Nicole and Stephen Drevlow; and his great grandchildren, Kyle and Kaelyn Parker. He was predeceased by his daughters, Phyliss Anderson and Kimberly Pectle; and his grandson, George Fredrickson, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9am at the funeral home followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor.
