LAGRANGEVILLE – Florian Izold, 82, an area resident since 1995 and formerly of the Bronx, died peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2014 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Czechoslovakia on January 18, 1932, he was the son of the late Florian and Rose (Stevko) Izold. On April 12, 1961 in New York City, Florian married Mariette Roy Izold who survives at home.

He had previously been a parishioner at Holy Rosary Church in the Bronx where he served as Eucharistic Minister, an usher, and on the Parish Council. A member of the American Legion, he also enjoyed gardening. Florian was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be greatly missed.
