Condolence: To the Family--

Grandma Helen was a blessing to all of us. We were very fortunate to have her in our lives. She brought grace, humor and peace wherever she went and to whomever she met. She will be greatly missed.

Condolence: Our sincere condolences on the death of your family matriarch. The loss of a loved one is never easy. Our prayers are with you.

Condolence: To our family and all of her friends, what ever name you may have called her we were addressing the same beautiful lady. This was a woman who watched all of us as we danced through life, and danced right along beside us to make sure we didn't miss a step. We all would remember her with such words as Patient, gentle, kind, unselfish, understanding classy! Bundle all of this together and you will remember her always.

Grandma said time and time again how lucky she was, and I would like to share with you in my heart what I thought when she said this.

Being lucky for her was to have been blessed with five beautiful children, and that she was able to teach her children all of what was good in life, and in return her children would then pass this knowledge to all their children, nieces, nephews, and so on, by being such great role models. The big secret in all of this is, she with such strength and wisdom, and in the true sense of the saying without knowing created her own happiness by making sure she surrounded herself with all that is good in life, thats why she felt so lucky.

I would like to end in saying we all should be so lucky to have danced through life with such GRACE and pass with such respect. (remember the secret)

Condolence: Dear Grandma,

I was completely devastated by your passing. Although we weren't included in your obituary, I want you to know that you were always my grandmother to me, including when I was a child. You actually were my grandmother longer than my biological grandmother and saw both of my marriages and were the only great-grandmother my children had. So there was no "step" in there for us, you were grandma.

Matthew and Emily were also were very upset but as Emily put it, grandpa was there waiting for you and the love you two shared was an inspiration to all of us.

I truly loved the time we spent together after grandpa died and the conversations we had while holding hands and crying together. I'm glad I could always come up with a memory that made you laugh or smile in the end. You and I grieved together as we had been through the awful experience of his death together. You were very strong and I'm so glad we made all those decisions together.

I will miss you for all of my life. It was a gift to have a grandmother who loved us all so much. I love you so very much and thank you for accepting all of us as your own and especially for all you did for Uncle Billy.

I hope you and grandpa are together now and happy again. Please watch over us as you always did in life. I'm comforted to know I have 2 angels up in heaven and you are once again keeping grandpa in line. You may be gone, but you were such a big part of my life you will never be forgotten. All those years, all the love and caring. You were one special woman and a part of you will always be in my heart.

Condolence: To my family: I am so sorry to hear about Helen passing. The whole family is in my prayers and i wish i could be there. I am so glad that i was able to see her recently at Matts wedding.

Condolence: Diane: How sad to read of your mother's passing in this Poughkeepsie Journal. Your mother probably knew my mother because Mom was also a member of Court Liberata, Catholic Daughters of America. My sympathies are with you and your family at this time.

Condolence: To all my family -- Wish we could be there to share; just know I love and feel for you all. We'll all miss her. What a wonderful lady, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and person. I know it's ironic but I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and know that I am with you in spirit.
