Obituary for Mary A. Elmes

Mary A. Elmes, 87, a resident of Fishkill, passed away on November 7, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Mary was born in the Bronx on October 16, 1931, the daughter of William and Mamie Stanley. Mary worked for 30 years at Yonkers Raceway as an owner and trainer.

She is survived by her children, Edward Elmes and his wife Barbara of Flagler Beach, FL, Kenneth Elmes and his wife Frances of Hopewell Junction, Kevin Elmes of Naugatuck, CT and Christopher Elmes and his wife Susan of Putnam Valley; her 9 grandchildren and her 2 great-grandsons. She was predeceased by her son, Michael and her grandson, Kenneth Jr.

Calling hours will be Monday, November 12, 2018 from 2-6pm with a funeral service at 5:30pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY.
