Condolence: Long ago Bern and I were both over the hill as fond neighbors and mothers of our children’s friends. I have always admired her intelligence, integrity and many talents….she created such beautiful things, dresses for her girls, sweaters and a lovely garden to mention but a few. Fortunately her fine features and striking eyes are reflected in her children as well as her subtle sense of humor. Her devotion to Gail, Jill and Paddy 3 was notable, and they returned it in kind.
