Condolence From: Peter Chelak

Condolence: I would like to express my condolences to the Short family for your loss. I just found out today of Tom's passing. I was a very good friend of Tom's during his IBM years in the late 80's. Tom attended my wedding in 1995 but we unfortunately lost touch with each other when he moved to the Pennsylvania area. It was wonderful to read that his favorite place was Long Beach Island, I spent many weekends after 3rd. shift with Tom and friends at the house and on the boat. They are great memories I will never forget. Rest in peace buddy....

Condolence From: Karen Smith

Condolence: I don't even know where to begin. Tom, we started at Minisink at the same time, 22 years ago. There isn't a memory of Minisink that doesn't have you in it. I have pictures hanging in my classroom and they all have you in them. You were one of the most generous people I've ever met. We had so many laughs at lunch and so many stories that we talked about over and over again. Remember the Superman shirt I bought you? All because you always seem to be on the rescue to save someone!! I'm sorry you suffered my friend. We all miss you so much. I hope that you are at peace and that you know that we all miss you. Rest in peace my dear friend Tom. My deepest sympathies to your family as well.
