Robin Ann Testerman, a local area resident since 1989 and formerly of Westchester County, died on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 53.
She was born in the Bronx on March 20, 1965. Robin loved nature, and frequently visited Bowdoin Park to watch the eagles. She also cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Lauren Testerman of West New York, NJ; her daughter, Sarah Priest & her husband Joshua of Manhattan; her son, John Testerman of Fishkill; her mother, Sharron (Goodfellow) Borchert of Wappingers Falls; her former husband and friend, John Testerman of Fishkill; and many other loving relatives & friends.
Robin was preceded in death by her brother, John VanAusdoll in 1981; her stepfather, Gene Borchert in 1996; and her father, Raymond VanAusdoll in 2006.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will follow at 6:30.
