Condolence From: Jim Osborn

Condolence: To Ed's daughters: Ed was a huge influence on me as he was my elementary school music teacher. He got me started on the trumpet in the correct way and inspired me to love playing. I realized what an amazing jazz pianist he was at a later time and I always enjoyed seeing him play and was always honored when he came to see me play. He even came to Vassar to hear one of our concerts - I think that it may have been two years ago. I also shared his love of golf and played on the golf teams at Arlington and in college. It was great fun when my band played at the family wedding at Christos - the guys in the band thought Ed was the best. Ed was always so encouraging and kind and he was always such a classy gentleman. It is so sad to lose such an important person in my life - I will always think of him and appreciate his presence in my life. Take care - I hope that you are all well! Jim Osborn
