Obituary for Dylan Joseph Gardineer

FISHKILL – Dylan Joseph Gardineer, a lifelong local area resident, died at home in Fishkill on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was 38.

He was born in Mount Kisco on June 30, 1979, and his family relocated to Fishkill several months later. He attended John Jay Senior High School and Dutchess Community College, and later participated in the Electrical Systems program at Ridley-Lowell Business & Technical Institute. Dylan worked as an electrician for many years.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis J. and Christine (Lavezoli) Gardineer of Fishkill; his siblings: Seraphine Amann & her husband Jason of Beacon, Gina Salvati of Wappingers Falls, Patty Gardineer, Hope Mayes, Keith Gardineer, and Cindy Gardineer; many nieces & nephews including Rachel, Lyndsie, Carli, Caitlin, Wyatt, Gianna, Ace, Tyler, and Kayla; and many other loving relatives & friends.

Dylan was predeceased by his grandparents, Andrew & Ann Lavezoli and Chester & Gloria Gardineer; as well as his uncle, Charlie Lavezoli.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to charity of one’s choice.
