WAPPINGERS FALLS – Fulvio J. Nenni, 89, a lifelong area resident, died on April 13, 2018 at the Pines at Poughkeepsie.

Born in Wappingers Falls on August 28, 1928, he was the son of the late Ronald and Helen (Tomanic) Nenni. He proudly served in the US Army from 1946-1948. Fulvio worked at his family’s business, Nenni Construction, Inc. in Beacon before owning his own business.

On September 6, 1953 at Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie, he married Concettine (Reale) Nenni who survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Ronald Nenni and his wife Carol of Orinda, CA; his grandchildren, Chelsea Nenni, Darcy Yee and her husband Brian, and Emily Nenni; his siblings, Rose Quinn, Dolores Horton, James Nenni, Vincent Nenni, and Robert NEnni; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his son, Carmelo Nenni in 1959 and his brother, Ronald Nenni.

Fulvio was previously a member of the Italian Center in Poughkeepsie and served as an usher at St. Mary, Mother of the Church. He and Connie traveled the world together, and he also enjoyed carving, bowling, and watching football and baseball. Most of all, he loved being surrounded by his family.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 9:45 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill followed by entombment at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery with military honors.
