Obituary for
Glen S. Seaman Jr.
Glen S. Seaman, Jr., 70, an area resident for over 20 years and formerly of Pleasantville, died on April 7, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in New Orleans, LA on June 26, 1947, he was the son of the late Glen Stuart and Grace Anderson Seaman. Glen proudly served our country in the US Army and was employed in printing sales for Wilcox Press in Ithaca. An avid fan of the NY Yankees and Giants, he loved golfing, cooking, entertaining, and playing games, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his granddaughter.
On August 24, 1968 in Rochester, Glen married Sharon (Lennon) who predeceased him on August 11, 2011. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Sam Thyrre of Wappingers Falls; his granddaughter, Ella Grace Thyrre; his sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Bill Mulcahy; his nieces and their husbands, Corinne and Chris Radzik, and Heather and Brian Chmura; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Sue Lennon, Jim and Fame Lennon, Larry and Ellen Lennon; his nephews, Jay, Chris, Chase, Cody, Joshua, Taylor, Adam, Matt, Chris and Tim; his cousins, Chris and Heather Lennon; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 12 beginning at 1pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a Memorial Service at 1:45pm.
