Condolences

Condolence From: Carol Veach Lopez
Condolence: Sincere condolences to the family of my former 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Prusak. Her strong leadership and belief in her students created a turning point in my life, and in her class I became the student I was meant to be. Lucky are those to have been touched by her life. I can still see my book reports hanging over my desk, and I can still smell her perfume. May you be comforted knowing she made great impressions and changed lives.

Condolence From: Jeanne and Charles Walker
Condolence: We were so shocked and saddened to learn of Jackie's death. She was a good neighbor and always ready to provide a reference to special craftsmen when needed. Her daughter Deanne and our daughter Jan enjoyed a close friendship which continues to this day. Jackie's support and activity with the East Fishkill Historical Society and The Hopewell Depot Restoration Corp. have served the heritage of the Town of East Fishkill well for many years. To say she will be missed is an understatement. May we have more people like Jackie to enrich our lives!

Condolence: It is just not possible to believe that Jackie is no longer with us. We in AAUW are so sadly stunned at her death. She was active in our organization and such a presence at our bridge games. I am going to have a very hard time walking into Red Lobster for our game next Thursday.

Condolence From: Bev Hanna
Condolence: I was so saddened to hear about Jackie. We often rode to bridge together and talked about our teaching days, our shared interest in local history, and bridge strategies. I will miss her enthusiasm for all she did, her support of causes she cared about and her lively personality. I never made the time to have her teach me how to play mah jongg, which I now regret. I will miss her.

Condolence: I was lucky enough to meet Ms. Prusak twice when she came to Texas to visit Deanne. I loved her lively personality and we had a great time talking about our volunteer work and our knitting. She will be greatly missed. Sincere condolences to Deanne and her brother. Carla
