NEWBURGH – David R. Lauersdorf, 65, died on February 26, 2018 at the Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation. A resident of Newburgh since 2001, he previously lived in Stormville and Beacon.
Born on July 29, 1952 in Watertown, WI, David was the son of the late Raymond Popart and Marion Lauersdorf. He had been employed by LSI Lighttron in Cornwall until his retirement in 2011 after 18 years of service. He was an avid barbecuer and wood worker who also enjoyed bowling.
On September 23, 1978 at St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction, David married Andrea Perini Lauersdorf who survives at home. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and 2 great-nieces.
