Bankers Trust, A Family

Dear Anne-Margrete,

It is with great sadness that I hear of the passing of Boris. I worked at Bankers Trust for 25 years, all spent in the London Office, where I had the privelage of being associated with him for many of those years.. He was a real gentleman who was very caring towards others and was respected by all he worked with. The employees from Bankers Trust, like myself, always considered the bank to be like a family, supporting and caring for each other, and Boris was one of that family.

I left over 30 years ago and since then we have kept in touch on a regular basis. He was also a great supporter of the Bankers Trust London Alumni which is still running after 30 years and he attended most of those function and it was a way of keeping in touch besides emails or telephone conversations. It was aways a pleasure to meet him. In fact one of the last emails I had from him said he woulld like to have lunch with myself and another old colleague. I guess that will have to wait for a while........

I wll pass on the sad news to all the ex Bankers Trust people I keep in touch with and I know they too will be sad to hear about him..

Finally I can only show my respect when I say I am honoured to have met him in my lifetime and been able to call him a friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this very sad time.
