Obituary for Charles J. FitzRandolph

Wappingers Falls – Charles J. FitzRandolph, a Wappingers Falls resident since 1980, formerly of Yorktown Heights, died at home on Saturday, December 30, 2017. He was 66.

Son of the late Charles and Anna Marie (Jordan) FitzRandolph, he was born in the Bronx on April 2, 1951. Charlie had been employed as a Troubleshooter with Verizon in Croton Falls for 33 years until his retirement in 2002.

Charlie was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. He also was a member of the Dutchess Cruisers Car Club, and served as a Vessel Safety Inspector for the U.S. Power Squadron.

Charlie is survived by his girlfriend, Renata Minnerly; his sister, Carol Salvatore; his nephews, Scott and Bryan Salvatore; and his cousins, Pam and John Ogno.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10:30am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
