Eileen Walsh Obituary - Hopewell Junction, New York

Eileen Joan Walsh, 88, an area resident for more than 60 years and formerly of the Bronx, died on December 17, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Manhattan on July 27, 1929, she was the daughter of Joseph and Hilda Mooney. She had been employed as an accountant with IBM in East Fishkill. A former member of the Mid County Rod & Gun Club, Eileen enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and reading.

Eileen is survived by her son, Bruce Coneeny and his wife Kim; her grandchildren, Kara and Matt, Lauren, and Devin; her sister, Josephine Lettmoden; her former husband, Philip Coneeny; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Walsh; and her sister, Anne Lazzazzaro.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11am at St. Denis Cemetery, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.
