The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rose Milone can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Mom

Rose, Ronny, Aunt Rose, Aunt Ronny, Aunt Ro, Grandma Rosey, Sister, Grandmother, Friend, Mother. It didnt matter what you called her, no one was like her. Mom was ahead of her time wearing new styles and decorating with modern furniture. From Mini Skirts, Go-Go Boots, blue/black hair to sectional sofas. She worked hard all her life, but always left time to enjoy life, sometimes at Bingo, Horseshoes, playing cards or just sharing a cup of coffee. She was the most fun mom who took the kids to the beach or amusement parks. There are so many stories over the years that continued to be shared regarding all the adventures and wonderful moments she brought to all our lives. Mom enjoyed life and even at the end, when she spoke few words, all her caregivers loved her. Although mom always took time to dress up and set the example for many of her nieces and cousins, she was way better on the inside and that is what set her apart. She had a great heart. She was a confidant and trusted friend to so many people and that is why we all loved her. As years passed, mom had lots of opinions but never gave bad advice. Mom was the true leader of our family. She lead by example and taught family values and made sure we stayed strong. It s a great life if you dont weaken was her mantra. Now shes gone, the last of our familys greatest generation. There is a new Rose blooming in Heaven. She is at last back with Pop, the love of her life, who left us too early. But the Rose we know will never die as we all have too many memories to ever let that happen. All my love, John
