Madeline Wagner, 65, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend, peacefully passed into the Kingdom of our Lord, surrounded by her family, on October 24, 2017.

Madeline was born on July 11, 1952 in Yonkers, the daughter of the late Marino and Rose Gizzi. She had been employed as the Secretary to the Division Engineer with ATT Long Lines in White Plains. She had also worked in the office of Dr. Mario Vilardi in Fishkill, and as an administrative assistant to the Director at Daytop Village in Millbrook. A resident of Garner since 2008, she had previously resided in Hopewell Junction and Yonkers.

On October 8, 1972 in Yonkers, Madeline married the love of her life, Earl P. Wagner, Jr. who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughters, Nicole Wagner of Garner, NC, and Christine Wagner of Poughkeepsie; her sister, Maria Cavalieri of Montgomery; her brother, Vincent Gizzi and his wife Kathy of Poughkeepsie; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
