Obituary for Patricia Ann Dwyer

Patricia Ann Dwyer, 72, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1972, died on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in Rhode Island, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 6, 1945 in Buffalo, Patricia was the daughter of Harry and Eleanor Borowinski. Patricia graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Rosary Hill College in Buffalo in 1967 and was a medical technologist at New York Presbyterian/ Hudson Valley Hospital for more than 25 years. On August 3, 1968 in Dunkirk, Patricia married Robert J. Dwyer who predeceased her on August 1, 2012. She was a parishioner of St. Columba Church, a member of the Chelsea Yacht Club, Walkway Over the Hudson and PEO International. She loved spending time with her friends and family.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Robert Dwyer and his wife Jennifer, and their two children Robert and Sean, and Kyle Dwyer and his wife Laura, and their two children Abigail and Henry, all of Rhode Island; her sister-and brother-in-law, Coletta Evans and Newman Evans; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
