Obituary for
Earl Weber
BEACON – Earl Elliot Weber, 91, an area resident since 2015, died on September 23, 2017 at the Wingate at Beacon. He previously lived in the Bronx.
Born on July 27, 1926 in St. Paul, MN, Earl was the son of the late Earl and Lucille(Genevieve) Weber. Earl proudly served in the US Army during WW II. He had been employed as a writer for the New York State Human Resources Association until his retirement.
Earl’s children remember him taking them to church every Sunday at St. John’s Catholic Church in the Bainbridge neighborhood of the Bronx. He NEVER missed it unless there was an emergency!
Earl is survived by his daughter, Kim Fleming and her husband Jose; his daughter, Tracey Weber; his son, Errol Weber; his grandchildren, Joshua, Journey, and Grace Mercy Fleming, Marcus Graham, Brianna Weber, and Jade Graham; his nephew and wife, Michael and Jude Powell; his great-nephews, Cenneka and Alexander Powell; and his great-niece, Taya Reed. He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Mary J. (Booker) Weber; his sister and her husband, Yvonne and Junius Powell; and his nephew.
Earl will be remembered as a deeply loving, devoted, and respectful husband, father, and grandfather. His children were lucky enough to witness this since they were born.
Calling hours will be held from 11 am – 12 pm on Saturday at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will begin at 12 pm at the funeral home followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery with military honors.
