The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of GySgt Brendan Johnson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Jack T. Scully
Condolence: Suzanne, Kevin & Cullen, I will always remember Brendan as a young boy--smart, loving and a true friend to my daughter, Kerry. Although we lost contact over the years, I was not surprised to learn that he had become a career soldier who played a key role in the war against terrorism. By all accounts, he was a genuine American hero. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

Condolence From: Aw
Condolence: My sincere condolence to the family and friends of Brendan. Coping with the loss of a loved one is especially difficult when it is unexpected. The Scriptures helps us to understand why it happens. Ecclesiastes 9:11 says that time and unexpected events overtake us all. So we are encouraged to take refuge in God, for he is a help that is readily found in times of distress at Psalm 46:1, and there is a hope for the future, John 5:28,29 says the hour is coming when all in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out.
