Condolence From: william steinhaus

Condolence: Noreen worked with me when I served as Dutchess County Clerk prior to my position as County Executive. I hired Noreen when we were expanding our county wide office locations and I later promoted her to supervisor. She was a dedicated and loyal and importantly a trusted staff member and a person who served the public in an exemplary manner. She was also respected by her staff when managing our various office sites.After I left the County Clerks position and became Executive I would stop in the Wappinger or other locations and would always enjoy the warm hello and friendly smile from Noreen. We occasionally would see each other around town and always she had the same warm smile. Perhaps my fondness for Noreen came in part from that Brooklyn accent since my family was from Sheepshead Bay near her Flatbush roots. I will miss her. Wonderful lady!!!! William R.
