Frances M  Taylor
FISHKILL – Frances M. Taylor, 58, an area resident for the past 2 years, died on July 12, 2017 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. She previously lived in Pleasantville and Beacon.
Born in Peekskill on December 6, 1958, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Frances “Fanny” (Gallucci) Mason. She was raised in Peekskill, and graduated from Peekskill High School before receiving her Associate Degree from Westchester Community College.
Frances was a bus driver for Byram Hills School District in Armonk for over 20 years. She enjoyed all genres of music, and especially liked going to see live bands. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family including her children and grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her children, Stephen Taylor and his wife Maryna of Fishkill, Marissa Taylor of Mohegan Lake, and Lauren Taylor of Beekman; her grandchildren, Cayden, Ian, Bryce, and Arianna; her siblings, Jane (Ken) Kreutzberg, James Mason, Pat Mason, John Mason, Gerry (John) Perricelli, and Lynda (Jimi) Mason-Genevese; and many nieces and nephews. Frances was looking forward to the birth of her 5th grandchild, Blake.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her siblings, Arline Compitello, Diane Valentino, and Ann Patricia “Teashia” Hughes.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Burial at Assumption Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
