Condolence: Very sorry to hear of the passing of Bobby Hughes. He was a gentle soul and a true gentleman. Always enjoyed seeing him at Renegades games and the bagel shop in Fishill. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to the Hughes family. I met Bob in the very early 90s as a Police Cadet. Bob along with may of the greats contributed to my law enforcement learning and education paving my way into the future making me the police officer and supervisor I am today . Bob was very knowledgeable and great to work with. The world is a little less brighter without him in it. Rest In Peace Bob, you will be greatly missed .

Condolence: I met Bob almost 40 years ago when I was just a kid and he was a Deputy on the Dutchess Mall detail. He would let me walk the Mall with him while my Mother shopped. The whole time we walked Bob gave me advice on how to get into Law Enforcement. I was fortunate to have ended up working with Bob for 15 years at The Town of Fishkill PD, where we were partners for quite a few years. I last saw Bob at the Bagel Shop two weeks ago and like always we had a few laughs. He will be missed.

Condolence: To Lillian and family,
My deepest heart felt condolences! The news of his passing came as a shock. I'm so sorry! I had the pleasure of working with Bob in the Town of Fishkill Police Department. We shared many morning Bagels and laughs. I considered him a good friend. My fondest memories were the years we worked the security detail for the Hudson Valley Renegades....many great times at the ball field..he was a fair Sergeant, who always looked out for his men. I served under his command in the Police Honor Guard....he was a very proud Cop!!! I will miss him dearly! God Speed my friend! St. Michael will guide you!

Condolence: I'm so sorry for your loss. We were just talking about Rob the other day and of course it made me think of Bob. He was a true gentleman who always presented himself proudly. I used to run into him through work and he was always a pleasure to deal with. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
