Obituary for June C. Lore

HOPEWELL JUNCTION – June C. Lore, 87, an area resident for 23 years, died on June 1, 2017 at home. She previously lived in New Rochelle.

Born in St. Petersburg, FL, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Moore) Mathews. Along with her husband, June owned Lady June, Inc. in New Rochelle for over 20 years.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis Lore of Stormville, Fred Lore of Dover Plains, and Dean Lore of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Tracy, Travis, and Ashley, and her sister, Viola Mathews. She was predeceased by her husband, Enrico Lore on August 7, 1997.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 11:30am -1pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a graveside service at St. Denis Cemetery, 604 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Please visit June’s Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
