Gelsomino "Jimmy" Lombardo
Gelsomino “Jimmy” Lombardo, 59, a resident of Hopewell Junction for more than 20 years, left to be with the Lord on May 23, 2017. He was a beautiful soul – gone too soon.
Born in Calabria, Italy on July 24, 1957, he was the son of Francesco and Concetta (Rondinelli) Lombardo. Jimmy was the “Pizza Man” at Sinapi’s Pizzeria in Brewster. He was a member of the Beekman Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved the game of soccer.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Luci F. (Ornelas) Lombardo; his daughter and son-in-law, Percida and Manley Cameros; his grandson, Andrew Noah Cameros; his brothers, Frank, Joe and Anthony; his sister, Maria; his sister-in-law, Concetta Daniele Lombardo; and his nephews, Armando and Frank Lombardo. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Tony.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 4-7pm at the Beekman Baptist Church, 1068 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be at 6pm with Pastor Luciano Ornelas and Pastor Emerson Oliveira officiating.
