Edmund B. Conley, Sr. passed away on May 17, 2017. He was born on February 6, 1929 to Joseph and Anna Conley in Yonkers, NY where he was raised and educated.

He served his country proudly in the US Navy from 1947-1956. In 1957, he married Nancy Abbott. Mr. Conley was a stationary engineer, retiring from Amtrak.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years and their children: Noreen (John) Lippolis, Edmund, Jr. (Deirdre), Nancy, Margaret (John) D’Apice, Theresa (John) Mangini and Ellen (Michael) Mytych. He is also survived by his brothers, Donald and Thomas and sisters Patricia and Joan and many nieces and nephews.

His 10 grandchildren were the joys of his life - Kara, Nick, Emily, Caitlyn, John, Marie, Juli, Brian, Anthony and Kelly.

He was predeceased by his brothers Raymond, Joseph, Arthur, John, Lawrence and sisters Florence and Margaret.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
