HILLSIDE LAKE - Kathleen Fusari, 74, formerly of Wappingers Falls, died on May 16, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born in the Bronx on February 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Christina (Coyle) Mulgrew. She had been employed as a secretarial clerk for the Dutchess County District Attorney for many years until her retirement.

Kathleen was an accomplished artist, whose work was hung in many banks and had been featured at various art shows. She also liked sewing and quilting, and enjoyed making quilts for her family and friends. Kathleen was a league member at Fishkill Bowl.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Anthony Fusari and his wife Tracy, Matthew Fusari, and Kathleen Artusa; her grandchildren, Michael and Maddie and Sophia and Serafina; her brothers and sisters, Joan, Joseph, Jeannie, Terry, and Francis; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Brian and Carol Ann.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 – 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery.
