I feel lucky to have been one of the last Fordham cohorts to get to know Kathy. She interviewed me on my interview day and the memory of her spunk and genuineness was one of the reasons I wanted to attend Fordham. She will be very, very missed.
Kathy was a pioneer and an inspiration to me as a female in academia; I will miss her wisdom and superb sense of humor, among many other things.
I loved Kathy and she legitimately is the person who taught me how to read research as well as how to think in the simplest way about design. I feel fortunate to have known her even in one small moment in her life.
She was such a wonderful woman. I'll miss her dearly.
Dr. S was awesome. Her voice is forever in my head when I think about research methodology. That's a good thing.
