Obituary for Lillian Capuano

Lillian  Capuano
Lillian Capuano, 77, a resident of Wappingers Falls, died on April 10, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence after a courageous battle with Amyotrophic Laterals Sclerosis.
Born in Yonkers on December 7, 1939 and raised in Hastings-on-Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Dora (Fitzpatrick) Ryan. Lillian had been employed as an Inmate Records Coordinator by the NYS Department of Corrections at Green Haven Correctional Facility for 18 years until her retirement in 1997. Following her retirement, she relocated to Calabash, NC. She enjoyed golf, entertaining, and social events with her friends from Carolina Shores.
On May 17, 1958 at St. Matthew’s Church in Hastings-on-Hudson, Lillian married Ralph Capuano who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughters, Nancy Anzovino of Wappingers Falls, Lisa Brennan and husband John of Verbank, Tracy Capuano Cotich of Wappingers Falls, and Dana Capuano and partner Jim Wilson of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Anthony Sidote, Patrick Sidote, John and Lindsay Brennan, Kelly and Scott Giuliano, and Jessica and TJ Miller; and her great-grandchildren, Gianni, Max, Luca, Addelyn and Louie.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 11am at St. Matthew’s Church, 616 Warburton Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson.
