Maureen I. Ehrhart (Corey)
Stormville, New York ~ Maureen I. Ehrhart entered into rest on June 3, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was 73.

Raised in Brooklyn, she was born in Manhattan to the late Wanda and Fred Corey on December 8, 1942. On June 27, 1965, she married the love of her life William Ehrhart. They moved to Dutchess County the summer of 1973 to raise their family.

Maureen retired from Verizon in 2003 and remained active in the community. She was the President of the Altar Rosary Society of St. Columba, St. Kateri Tekakwitha and St. Denis for the past 11 years. She was also Vice President of Catholic Widow and Widowers, as well as a Eucharistic Minister. Maureen became a Lay Fransican at Mt. Alvernia and was a Columbiette. She was also an active committee member of the East Fishkill Republican Club and Committee.

She is survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Cathy) Corey and Bruce (Mickey) Corey, and her sisters, Lucille Genova and Jacqueline Corey. In addition, she is survived by her children, Roxanne (Dave) Haselkamp, Sharon O’ Toole, Kelly Ann (Jimmy) Connolly, Stacy (Glenn) Scofield, Corey (Sharon) Ehrhart, Brett (Tammy) Ehrhart and Kenneth Ehrhart, as well as her grandchildren, Daniel, Tiffany, Shane, Shaylagh, Zackery, Nicholas and Wyatt.

In addition to her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her husband Bill, her brother Daniel, her brother-in-law Al, and her granddaughter Karen Francis.
Her children would like to extend their thanks to friends and family for their unending love and kindness, as well as all of the wonderful staff of doctors, nurses and aides who have supported us over the past several months.

Family will receive family and friends on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
