Obituary for Bin Ye

LAGRANGEVILLE - Bin Ye, PhD, 50, an area resident since 1997 and formerly of Alabama and China, passed away on May 29, 2016 following a courageous two year battle with cancer. He remained devoted to his wife and children to his final moment of life.

Born in China on January 30, 1966, he was the son of Dizhi Ye and Xianhua Wang who survive in China. Dr. Ye received his Bachelors Degree from Tsinghua University in China and his Doctorate from Auburn University. He was employed as a Computer Engineer at IBM in Poughkeepsie.
Dr. Ye enjoyed playing soccer, photography, traveling and the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, Dr. Ye is survived by his wife, Yuehua Huang; his children, Jonathan Edward and Angela Christine; his sister, Li Ye of China; and his brother, Jun Ye of China.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82,Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be on Friday at 10am at the funeral home followed by interment in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
